• 명사(목적어)강조, 부연설명
  • I know the place where they met : 장소
  • I remember the day when they met : 날
  • I heard the reason why they met : 이유
  • I am telling the way how they met : 방법
• 강조하고 싶은데 같은 단어를 또 쓸 수는 없으니 관계부사를 사용한다.
• 부사를 가운데 두고 두 문장이 내용상 관계가 있음 : 관계부사

 

 

 

 

86강 비교급, 최상급

• 긴 형용사 앞(보통 3음절 이상의 형용사)
  • a more interesting class.
  • a most interesting class.
• more->er, most->st로 변형되어 사용되기 시작한다.
• ~er ~than (more ~ than) : ~보다 더
• the비교급, the비교급 : 더 ~할수록 더 ~하다.
  • The more, the better. : 더 많을수록 좋다.
  • The sooner, the better : 더 빠를수록 좋다.
